New home and now .......

Spotty has now gone to a great new home with two children, who I am sure are going to love those cuddles and also enjoy watching him run and jump all around. I am really happy that he has a forever home. I knew that with Spotty was all he needed was a family to come and meet him and he would be happy.

Spotty however will be the last bunny that I will be fostering for a while. I have decided that since I am expecting my second baby I should focus on keeping myself well and rested and then of course once the baby has arrived looking after the baby. I am sure that I will be fostering again but for now the bunny cage will remain empty.

Freedom..........ok not quite

Spotty got sometime this evening to run around our living room. He loved it. I decided to give him freedom for over an hour to run around as he please. He also got a pampering with a nail trim and also a groom. He seemed to enjoy the extra attention. Since my son was in bed he did not have to run around with a little one in tow. Spotty is a great bunny to watch out and about, as he runs and jumps, washes, and hops. He now gets to relax in a clean cage with lots of hay.

Spotty's New Year

Spotty has been a super star over the holidays. We have had family over which included 4 children. They have been doing what children do running, screaming, banging and generally having a blast while they can. Although Spotty did not welcome the noise in the playroom he also did not run from it. He sat in his cage and wiggled his nose but did not a lot else. Today was a beautiful winter day with the sun out and not to cold so while I cleaned out his cage I allowed Spotty a little bit of sun bathing. As you can see he seemed perfectly happy in the fresh air. As a new year treat I added extra hay to his age as Spotty loves his hay so once back inside with a moment of quite he tucked into his hay as happy as can be. I just hope that this New Year brings Spotty a new home as I know he will be great for any family.

Spotty

Due to the madness of life Spotty has not made it to the blog. But that is not due to any fault of his own. This bunny is a fun bunny to have around. My son has been easily able to stroke him and after he got used to the house has as been able to run around and has not been to hard to pick up. This bunny loves hay. He does it the pellets but hay is his favorite snack. I have had this bunny out with my three year olds and his friends and there have been no issues to report. Spotty is great for a cuddle and also fun to watch as he runs around to explore the room.

Hopping About

Although there has been some interest in Benji it has just never quite worked out for him. Which I must confess I find very surprising. This bunny is a star. With the nice weather that has been arriving in the area I have had him out in the garden to get a little sunshine one his coat. But I have to say I think he much prefers running around the living room. He can easily settle down under the lamp and stretch out, then he is off running around kicking up his back legs. I think he would make a great free roaming bunny and would love it. Someone just needs to come and snap up this great bunny and take him home.

Bunny Fun

Benji has managed to get a little more sunshine lately with some warm weather and also I have had him out and running about the house when I have been at home working. After he has explored and scent marked with his chin everything he can he then lies down and kicks out his back legs looking as though he owns the place. This bunny is awesome and even reminds me of a bunny I had back in England that I totally adored. He is totally making a place in my heart and I hope that soon he will get his own family that he can play with and love.

Outside

These a photos from the other week when we had nice weather, it has taken me a little while to get them off my phone. I have had Benji out when my friends had their children over and he did great. I really like this bunny he seems very laid back and ready for anything. He is a really soft bunny and cuddly too. I have had him running around the room having a great time, then he will kick back and relax. This guy is a great bunny and I would really recommend that you take this little guy into your home. He has never nibbled or nipped at me or any wires. I keep him in a cage but he is clean in his cage which leads me to believe that he could be a free roaming bunny with a little training.
