Hop, Hop!

This evening whilst watching TV, Jenny and Penny had an adventure. First we had a cuddle together on my lap and then I put them one the floor. After they had recovered from what I will call shock, i.e they just didn't move they then starting running around the floor having a great time. My cat Amelia came to have a look at them. Jenny hopped right on over to say Hi and Amelia looked as though she didn't know whether to flea for her life or not. However they just stared at each other and then Jenny hopped back off. Both Penny and Jenny had a great time running around and did sometimes run up to me to say Hi before dashing off again. It was great watching them have some fun. Jenny seems to be ok with being stroke while out and about however Penny is a little more nervous. She wasn't too much trouble but she does seem to get startled a little more than jenny does. All in all I think it was a great time had by all.

Today my little girls had a nail trim. Penny especially had really long nails. It is thought that these little girls had been left outside in a wire bottomed cage never really being taken out and never having had anything taken cared for. Penny's nails have bent out sidewards and also have gotten so over grown. It must have been so uncomfortable for her to do anything. Now with nails trimmed their should be no limits. Tonight we had cuddles and it was wonderful, they seem to like them a lot. Also they eat loads of hay but seem less interested into the pellets. They have had a nibble at a carrot though. I would say people who are looking for a couple of cuddle bunnies then these are the ones for you.

Video

This is a little video of Penny and Jenny having a little hop around outside.

I hope that you enjoy these two little cuties. That is my little boy in the background cheering them on. Both rabbit have been great with letting him stroke them.

Out and About.

Today while me and my little guy where about in the garden I decided to also get the bunnies out and put them in the run. So out they came and I have to say they looked like they had fun running this way and that. I think that I will have to try and trim their nails as they are looking long. Penny seems to a little more fearful when it comes to being picked up than Jenny but once you have a hold of either one of them then they will sit very nicely on your lap for a cuddle.

Penny and Jenny.

As many say it is out with the old and in with the new. And although I would never call Pepsi and Cola as old and something to get rid of, there departure has meant that I have a new arrival. So I would like to introduce you to my two new bunnies. It is believed that they are girls hence the names.

First off here is Penny.

She is a brown (penny colour) dwarf bunny and very cute. We had a quick cuddle upon arrival. She is malting out, which is what the dark mark is in her back. Soon she will be all the same colour all over. She is as yet not fixed but should be in a couple of weeks when she shall then be up for adoption with her bonded mate.

That brings me on to Jenny.

She is white with the cutest chocolate brown ears. Jenny is also a dwarf bunny, cuddles have also occurred and she is very sweet. She is also waiting to be fixed. So in a couple of weeks they will be ready for a new home.

These little girls are a bonded pair and so will be looking for a home together.

Until that point this cute bunnies are all mine to love and cuddle. I have left them to settle in and can't wait to have cuddles and fun with them over then next couple of weeks. I am sure my little boy is going to love them.

Home Sweet Home!

I am sad yet glad to say that it appears that Pepsi and Cola have gone onto better lives with another home hopefully. Things are not 100% as of yet but a family have seen them and appear to have fallen for them, as lets face it who could not. This means however that since they should move soon they have already left me. I did however manage to get some pictures of my two little guys today before they left. I will miss them but so glad that they now have a family to love them and play with them.

Running free!

I am afraid no picture this time. But the pair of them are still having great fun. I had them out the other day while my son was playing and they had great fun running around the toys and up to my son who would give them a stroke before they dash off again. I also had a nice cuddle with the both of them. I am really hoping that they get a new home soon as they would give someone great joy.
